This weekend was alot of fun. A bunch of us went to Lake Travis on saturday which was amazing! Then we all went and saw Made of Honor, which was hilarious! It totally made me think of who my maid of honor would be….poor Thomas. We will just call him my best man for sure! Then on sunday we all had dinner at chilis and went to see Indiana Jones. Talk about movie overload this weekend. But over all it was a ton of fun. I think we are going to make this lake thing a weekly habbit, because it was so much fun. Sio, Sofia, Adam, Creighton, Jona, and I have wayy to much fun together. I dont think I have laughed so hard in a long time! Heres to awesome weekends! – k

jUNE 3-7 guess where Im gonna be?!?! I recieved the whole week off! 
… Only problem with it was I emailed my boss and in response I go OK. I feel like when Andy proposed to Angela on the season finale of the office “Angela will you marry me?” her respone “ok….” Oh well Im flying to DISNEY! Wow I totally contradicted myself again….

Last night I got to babysit. Im now deaf in my left ear thanks to a 4 year old who apparently hates not getting to watch the alligator tape before bed. A for Alligator B for Bear etc… I love kids but WOW. She was like Siren from Xmen.
Anyways for the past two days my throat has been very scratchy and my voice sounds like I have been partying 24/7 (and i havent…i know thats really hard to believe). So I went to Tim the Capitol doctor. He was super nice and had to break the news to me that I am not sick: I have ALLERGIES! Wtf? I have never had allergies, but what if? I now proudly hold a yellow post it that says Zyrtec 10 mg. Take one every night at bed time….oh well -k

Its already monday, but since my family was in town all this weekend….it feels like i havent gotten a break yet. But yesterday sio, stephanie, and I went to see Cronicles of Narnia…and let me just say Prince Caspian is hot! I totally read the books, and I did not see that one coming. But it wasnt even just PC, Peter, and Edmund got cute to! All of us were baffeled by this! Anyways I cant wait to go to disney in 2 weeks and check out all the crazy Narnia merchendise…but until then I have sold my sole to the babysitting gods so I can earn money for my trip!-k

I have yet to understand Austin’s crazy weather. Last night we had hail 3-4 inches in diameter, REALLY LOUD thunder and lightning, and a tornado watch. I woke up this morning to find 4 large tree branches that broke over at the neil cochran house, and a big branch that broke right onto the parking lot of my apt. The streets are littered with leaves, and my car definately now has some divits from the hail…now last time I checked its may…we should not have ice in may? randomness. -k

sitting in my old office in the captiol and im sooo cold. I forgot to bring my sweater and its freaking antartica in here. Im left holding my coffee mug for warmth. aNyways last night I got to babysit…and boy were the kids out of control. at one point i was sure they were all cracked out b/c i was giving george a piggy back ride, sadie was holding onto my leg, hannah was showing me her cartwheels, and william kept throwing me the football…
it was alot of fun but i dont think i intend on having four kids. they all compete for attention 24/7! they even like going to the doctor b/c they get one on one time with their mom….so i was supposed to have them in bed at 8…well around 830 their mom got home and right when I went to greet her william came down and said “katherine when do i get my bed time story!..oh great moms home ::eye roll::” it was a little akward to say the least…but i got outta there and i was completely exhausted. well im rambling now but my goal tonight is to make some SERIOUS headway on economics. I will be so happy once that final is over!

i need sleep b/c last night was to much fun. First sio and I went to go see the movie 21 which was fun…and then we went to Dianne’s cinco de mayo party. I had NO idea that the theme was blackout!! not that I wouldnt have gone but….omg people are ridiculous. I have never seen people spill so much liquor…let me just say it was a successful cinco and its a miracle i am at work!
p.s. also there is a ripped pinata in the courtyard of my apt complex!

You know what really grinds my gears?!
THE FACT THAT I HAVE TO PARK ACROSS THE STREET EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE SPACES OPEN RIGHT UNDER GROUND!
I have been at my job for a year and IM tired of feeling like road kill. After a good 20 minutes of stewing I think I really am gonna hand in my letter on MONDAY. How could they say we dont know if your position will be with us next month/next week…really?! Its so unprofessional….and I think Ive done a pretty darn good job of dealing with this office and its junk. But bottom line I should have a parking space that accessible and doesnt require me to frogger my way across the street every morning.
Just in a second grind my gear: WHY CANT THE GUYS IN MY OFFICE ANSWER THE PHONE??? I was on a line, and sam was making copies…the phone rings. Instead of Jody answering it he just waited and waited till sam had to run from the copy machine to the phone…dude get off your power trip and answer the phone!

So while walking into work today i was listening to my ipod…and at my very favorite part of fergie while i was in front of my office Samantha the new W grabbed my arm. I almost jumped 10 ft. I did not to expect anyone to be here at 830 and i was just like omg…anyways she didnt have a key to the office so she had been waiting for someone to come open the door… i had to give her my office key. 
shes so nice and i know shes gonna do a great job…but i feel like that girl a ppl’s revolution on the hills that knows laurens gonna replace her. Jonathan thinks I should give my 2 weeks as a power play to show that i cant be left hanging…but i kind of need the money for this job and dont know where i am going to get another job. HELP! Oh well for now fergie will solve all my problems:
